MidiPilot is an independent macOS app built by Mitchell Woodbine — a musician and audio engineer who needed his own controllers, virtual ports, DAWs and OSC apps to speak the same language. It is designed the way a studio is: everything connects to everything, and nothing gets in the way of the take.
Every feature grew out of a real routing problem in a working studio. It is written natively in Swift, released under the MIT license, and runs as a universal binary on macOS 15+ — Apple Silicon and Intel. No accounts, no analytics, no trackers: your routing stays on your Mac.
